The PICC (Peripherally Inserted Central Catheter) interventional training model is a medical simulation tool specifically designed for venipuncture and catheter insertion skills training, and is widely used in nursing education, clinical training and skills assessment. This model precisely reproduces the anatomical structure of upper limb blood vessels, including venous distribution, subcutaneous tissue and surrounding muscles. Some high-end models can also simulate vascular reflux and catheter operation resistance, providing learners with a realistic operation experience.

In teaching, the PICC interventional training model can help medical students, nurses and interns master the standardized procedures of peripheral venipuncture, catheter introduction, fixation and nursing operations. Trainees can repeatedly practice puncture techniques, operation angles and depth control on the model, familiarize themselves with the steps of catheter advancement and positioning, thereby reducing the actual clinical operation risks.

In addition, this model is applicable to clinical skills training, assessment simulation and continuing education for nursing positions, and can effectively enhance the proficiency and confidence of medical staff in PICC catheterization operations. By using the training model, learners can not only consolidate theoretical knowledge but also gain practical experience in a safe and controllable environment, thereby enhancing the technical level of central venous catheterization and the quality of clinical care.
