The operation guide for the midwifery training model is designed to help learners master midwifery skills, particularly the common operational steps during childbirth. The model typically simulates the anatomical structures of the female pelvis, uterus, and fetus, and comes with replaceable fetuses and placentas, enabling trainees to conduct practical training in a simulated environment. Before the operation, trainees need to be familiar with the components of the model, such as the pelvis, perineum, the condition of the cervical opening, and the fetal position, to ensure they can accurately simulate the childbirth process.

During the operation, the first step is to prepare the mother and perform aseptic procedures. The condition of the cervix opening is checked, and the position of the fetus and the progress of the delivery are evaluated. Trainees can practice skills such as palpation, episiotomy, fetal head position guidance, and forceps assistance using the model. The model usually has the function of adjustable cervical dilation to simulate different delivery stages. After the delivery is completed, trainees can continue to practice the procedures of placental extraction, umbilical cord handling, and initial infant care.

After training, the model needs to be cleaned to prevent infection and damage, and to maintain its long-term usability. Such models are of great value in obstetric teaching, skill assessment, and continuing education for midwives, as they can help trainees master midwifery techniques and reduce risks in clinical operations.
